Took Zed and the Cormorants to the Eden Project yesterday for a celebration of reading - part of the launch of the 2022 Kernow Youth Book Awards. It was an honour to share the stage with Emily Barr, Karl Nova and Rob Badcock. Thanks to the St Ives Bookseller for the pop up bookshop; the KYBA team for organising the event; all the teachers and school librarians; and most of all thanks to all the young people who came along - there were nearly 200 of you! Your enthusiasm for all things bookish was a joy to behold.
